With a background in sales and a decade of military service, Joseph is ready to guide buyers and sellers through one of life’s most important decisions with confidence and transparency.

A Career Built on Passion and Community

Joseph has always thrived in roles that involve working with people. Having started in sales in his early twenties, he quickly discovered his love for connecting with others. After completing his military service, he found himself searching for a meaningful career that allowed him to engage with the community. That’s when a close friend and fellow Olympic SIR agent, Megan Zahringer, suggested real estate—and it was the perfect fit.

“I was hungry for a career again after ending my military service. I didn’t just want to work jobs to fulfill my time—I wanted to be passionate about my work while being involved in the community,” Joseph says. “Real estate was enticing because it allows me to help people in a big way, and the skills I developed in the military—working under pressure, attention to detail, and adaptability—are all invaluable in this field.”

Joseph’s approach to real estate is straightforward and transparent. He prides himself on always being upfront and honest with his clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout the buying or selling process.

Love for Land and the Outdoors

While Joseph doesn’t have a single favorite neighborhood in Olympia, he appreciates the unique blend of urban convenience and country living that the area offers.

“My family and I love the accessibility of properties with land in western Washington,” he explains. “Olympia is great because you can enjoy close-knit neighborhoods but also have the opportunity to find homes with more acreage in places like Centralia and Chehalis.”

Life Outside of Real Estate

When he’s not helping clients find their dream homes, Joseph enjoys spending time outdoors. He’s an avid golfer, frequently playing at Hawks Prairie, and he has a personal goal of visiting every state park in Washington—so far, Cape Disappointment is his favorite. He also enjoys fishing and kayaking, finding peace on the water.

Another big part of Joseph’s life is coaching his son’s travel baseball team. “It’s a lot of fun and a great way to stay connected with my son while giving back to young athletes,” he says. 

Joseph loves exploring Olympia’s vibrant community. Some of his favorite spots include the weekend Farmer’s Market and the scenic downtown marina. He’s also a fan of the Tacoma Rainiers games, a great family-friendly outing not too far from Olympia. For families with young kids, he recommends the petting zoo in Tumwater, a fun and interactive experience for all ages.

Committed to His Clients

Joseph’s main goal as a real estate agent is to make the home buying or selling process as stress-free as possible for his clients.

“I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate financing, inspections, and everything in between,” he says. “My job is to take that stress off my clients’ shoulders and ensure they always feel supported. I’m here to find solutions and make the process smooth and successful for them.”

Giving Back

Joseph is deeply involved in his community, supporting the Church of Living Water, which partners with local foster care outreach programs and food drives. His commitment to service extends beyond real estate, reflecting his passion for making a difference in people’s lives.
